Our mission is to onboard the brilliant African minds into web3 through educational media.

One of the key barriers to entry in the crypto economy is education. While there is a ton of information out there that is accessible to all, it does not always translate clearly to the audience.

We aim to tap into not only our education in the space but also our experience in order to create a community of people that are growing, learning, and building together in the crypto world.

Problem Statement

• 75% of Africans are younger than 35 years of age and 60% of Africans are under the age of 25. Moreover, the number of young people in Africa is expected to grow in the decades ahead.
• More than 700 million people in SubSaharan Africa remain offline and at risk of exclusion from the emerging digital economy.
• The gender gap in mobile internet deprives women of access to crucial information and services online, as well as opportunities to meet their life needs in an increasingly digital society.
• The high unemployment rate for people under 35 years old presents a huge opportunity for Funti3r to onboard the next millions of users to web3.

Proposed Solution

• We’re building a suite of educational products that address various crypto-finance needs for the crypto-curious African audience.

• We help walk people through the step-by-step processes of transacting on various platforms.

• We host workshops to educate, train, and onboard larger groups into the crypto economy.

• We make digital skills training material more accessible by using local languages, audio and video, and images. This is particularly relevant when targeting women in LMICs, given lower literacy levels relative to men.
